Our Story

TĪTOKI VINEYARDS is a boutique, family-owned vineyard located just south of Martinborough in the renowned Wairarapa wine region. Shaped by our rural roots, a deep appreciation for the land, and a commitment to quality, we grow grapes and craft wines that reflect the character of the place they come from.

Situated on the renowned Martinborough Terraces, Tītoki Vineyards spans 4 hectares of mature vines planted approximately 30 years ago. The ancient free-draining alluvial soils, combined with Martinborough’s cool, dry climate and long growing season, help produce balanced, expressive wines with a true sense of place.

The name Tītoki Vineyards is inspired by the native Tītoki trees growing throughout the property. Their vibrant red berries attract native birds that we work hard to protect, serving as a daily reminder of the importance of living and working in harmony with the environment that shapes our wines.

Crafted in small batches, our wines express the distinctive character of Martinborough and its unique climate. From our family to your table, we are proud to share them with you.
