Tītoki Wines
It’s hard to believe that after years of dreaming, planning, harvesting, blending, and bottling Tītoki Vineyards wines have arrived!
What began as a small idea back in 2020 has slowly grown into something incredibly special, and today we are so excited to finally share it with all of you.
When our founders, Lisa and Craig, first purchased the vineyard, they saw it as more than just land. For Lisa, who grew up on a farm in the countryside, being surrounded by nature and open space had always felt like home. Craig quickly fell in love with the peacefulness that came with vineyard life too, and together they thought this beautiful little vineyard could become something truly meaningful, not only for themselves, but for the people around them.
At the time, the vineyard primarily sold grapes to other wineries, something many vineyards across New Zealand do. But after an incredible harvest season, and with wineries around the country experiencing strong yields too, we suddenly found ourselves standing at a very exciting crossroads.
Do we continue selling our grapes, or do we finally take the leap and create our very own wines?
Since then, this project has become a collaboration of passion, creativity, and countless hours of work. Lisa poured herself into building the Tītoki brand and bringing its vision to life, while James led the winemaking process with incredible care and talent. Together, Craig, Lisa, and James spent time experimenting, tasting, refining, and creating wines that offered something for more than one palate — wines designed to be shared, enjoyed, and remembered.
And now, after such a long-awaited journey, we are beyond proud to finally share our first collection with you all.
This release includes five wines that each bring something different to the table, from fresh and vibrant to rich and refined. Every bottle tells part of the story of this vineyard, the people behind it, and the time that went into creating it.
As if launching our wines wasn’t exciting enough, we were also incredibly lucky to have our collection tasted and reviewed by one of New Zealand’s most respected wine reviewers, Sam Kim of Wine Orbit. Receiving the results back was a moment none of us will forget.
Every wine scored above 90 points; four of our wines received 5 stars, one received 4.5 stars, and our Pinot Noir Reserve was awarded an incredible 96 points!
For a brand-new label, it was surreal and exciting news as it confirmed something we had quietly believed all along: There is something truly special in these bottles.
To our friends, whānau, and everyone who has supported us along the way, thank you. Thank you for the encouragement, the belief, the helping hands, the late nights, and the many hours poured into bringing Tītoki Vineyards to life.
This is only the beginning, and we are so excited for what’s ahead.
